More Than Words has moved forward since you were certified. The 2024 program updates introduced neurodiversity-affirming practises aligned with current research, refined the strategies you teach parents, revised the Child Profile you use for assessment and goaI setting, and added More Than Words® the 1-1 Way for coaching individual parents.

This one-day, live online More Than Words Refresher & Recertification Workshop brings you fully up to date on all of it - and gives you a full day of practise, discussion and troubleshooting with Hanen clinical leaders and peers who do the same work you do.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is for SLPs who have previously completed More Than Words certification, including:

• Current members who want to refresh their knowledge and skills and learn about the most recent More Than Words update
• Expired members who want to renew their certification and gain the most up to date information

Includes one year of Hanen membership ($50 value) 

Four areas of change, all covered in this workshop

1. Updated program practises

   Review the 2024 updates, including neurodiversity-affirming practises aligned with current research.

2. Refined strategies

   Explore refined strategies for supporting autistic children and their families in everyday interactions.

3. Updated Child Profile

   Practise using the updated More Than Words Child Profile to guide assessment and goal setting.

4. More Than Words® the 1-1 Way

   Learn about the new individual parent-coaching intervention and resources, including an in-depth coaching session demonstration.

Completing this workshop renews your More Than Words certification and your licence to offer the group program and More Than Words® the 1-1 Way, both in person and via telepractice.

If your certification has expired, attending restores your licence to access and use all the More Than Words resources and renews your access to Hanen member benefits, including the More Than Words Clinical Resources Page and the current program materials.*
